Aadhaar is an Assistant Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at the University of Namur (Belgium). Before joining U.Namur he was a research scholar at Ross School of Business (University of Michigan) and completed his PhD in Operations Management at the IESE Business School, Barcelona. He completed my undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering (now Delhi Technological University). His research focuses broadly on Supply Chain Management and more specifically on how Sourcing and Procurement related decisions can be better integrated with other aspects of supply chain like inventory, risk, cost management and competition. Research themes related to design and use of electronic Reverse Auctions (eRAs) in sourcing have been of particular interest to him. More recently he has started looking at how such eRAs can be adapted and implemented on Platforms that enable buyers to procure from a more distributed supply side. He likes using diverse methodologies like mathematical modeling, empirics and behavioral experiments with the underlying idea that my research should be managerially relevant and at the same time can provide rich academic insights.
